About Me
Xavier Garcia, a Puerto Rican-born writer, director, and producer, is celebrated for his thought-provoking and faith-inspired storytelling. From a young age, Garcia displayed a passion for filmmaking, writing feature-length scripts and creating short movies with his brother. His journey into the world of cinema began during his high school years, where he honed his editing skills and interned at various media outlets.
While studying Spanish Literature and Theater at Colby College, Garcia filmed his first DSLR feature documentary, "Go Walk America," documenting a journey of awareness and activism. This project earned him recognition, including a Telly Award for excellence in filmmaking.
Transitioning to narrative filmmaking, Garcia's debut short film, "Armor of God," garnered acclaim in faith-based film festivals, paving the way for his subsequent projects. His film "Crossroad" earned accolades for its screenplay and direction, solidifying Garcia's reputation as a rising talent in the industry.
With "A Blood Throne," Garcia explored the genre of Biblical thriller, receiving widespread acclaim and multiple awards, including Best Picture at The New Hope Film Festival in New Hope PA.
In collaboration with his brother Jonathan, Garcia co-wrote and produced "King Cobras: Men's Group," a comedic episodic project aimed at addressing societal issues within the Latino community. The series, known for its humor and cultural commentary, debuted in 2021.
Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Garcia resides with his wife and children, and together with his brother, operates their production company, Mount Harvest. With a commitment to engaging storytelling and a diverse range of projects, Xavier Garcia continues to make his mark in the world of film.
