About Me
I'm a native Wisconsinite and grew up in a small agriculturally focused village in Door County. My parents moved from Chicago, Illinois, where they both were attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). This being said, I was raised in a liberal, art-centric household in the country.
My mother was incredibly encouraging when it comes to daily connection to our artistic sides. She is a professional photographer who has been integral to my influence, exposure, and education of the art world.
My connection with Lawrence University started at a young age through Bjorklunden. I would often visit and stay with my mother at Bjorklunden while she would teach photo courses and retreats.
Here at Lawrence University, I am a Religious Studies major with a focused Pre-Law route. I strive to become an ethical attorney, and-that directly correlates with an understanding of various cultures. My upbringing has shaped my appreciation for the arts, which has molded me as an open-minded, self-directed, and creative individual.
My interest in Introduction to Film Studies sparks from my fascination and admiration for the art world.
