• About Me

  NICOLE MEJIA graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a

  BFA in Acting, Directing and Playwriting. Her

  filmmaking approach is greatly influenced by her

  Honduran heritage and being raised navigating two

  cultures. Her works are driven towards socially

  conscious narratives, often turning tragedy into

  comedy and using it as a healing vessel. Nicole's

  short films I AM and SHADES OF BLUE were

  awarded the 2019 Audi Fellowship for Women.

  Her goal is to continue developing stories about

  the resilience of the human spirit and explore the

  depth of the human psyche through drama, crime,

  fantasy, adventure and magical realism.
